As Daniel “D1gg3r1” Luusua moves to FaZe Clan, we introduce a new face to the ENCE PUBG family, Joona "NOOKIE" Närvänen!
Daniel “D1gg3r1” Luusua has conquered the hearts and minds of many ENCE PUBG fans during his over 2-year-stay at ENCE. This young talent has played a crucial role in our PUBG success with his consistent fragging, often leading the stats in damage and kills.
D1gg3r1 joined ENCE along with Tiikzu in late 2019. This duo brought more consistency and put ENCE back into the dinner tables. Together, we saw success both regionally in PCS, ESL PUBG Masters, and internationally in PGI.S and PGC tournaments.
Now, we bid farewell to D1gg3r1 as he moves on to chase chickens in the ranks of FaZe Clan. We wish him the best of luck and look forward to seeing him in the circles!
“I want to thank Daniel for the two years we spent together, as we went through both ups and downs. It was great playing together and experiencing things, such as the two trips to South Korea. Good luck for the future!”, Saku “SKUIJKE” Sajakoski reminisces.
With that, we at ENCE are excited to welcome a new member to our PUBG family! Joona "NOOKIE" Närvänen, an experienced Finnish PUBG player from Lahti, is here to bring new energy and consistency to the team with his versatile playstyle.
“This is a unique opportunity for me, and I’m thrilled to get the chance to show off my skills.”
- Joona "NOOKIE" Närvänen
NOOKIE might be a new face in ENCE, but he isn’t a stranger to our players. On top of being a friend through the PUBG circles, NOOKIE shares a past with Tiikzu as they played together under multiple different banners, including HAVU, Winstrike Team, and CrowCrowd. He also shares a surprising history with the team coach, SENTEX, as the two used to play CS:GO together.
“This is a unique opportunity for me, and I’m thrilled to get the chance to show off my skills. My goals are to qualify for PGC and to bring ENCE to a new, higher level”, says Joona “NOOKIE” Närvänen.
“Joona is a familiar face from the server and a PUBG friend of mine. I look forward to playing some official games with him as the practice has gone smoothly. The first event is in a month, and the team spirit is high as Joona fits nicely into our team. Our main goal is to qualify for the PGC tournament at the end of the year”, SKUIJKE describes his new teammate.
Now, having previously played as an IGL, NOOKIE is ready to settle into a new team and utilize his versatility to support his friends in the battlegrounds. We’ll see the refreshed roster in action on the 1st of April as we start our tournament season with the G-Loot Grand Finals.
