Presenting ENCE Academy 2024

We say goodbye to Youssef "juissi" Adam and welcome Teemu "teme" Korva as our new 5th to complete the ENCE Academy roster for the upcoming season.

ENCE Academy began its story in May 2022. From the start, the young roster has displayed fresh talent and breathed new life into Finnish Counter-Strike. The team has consistently been among the top three teams in Finland, winning three online championships and making it to the playoffs of several tournaments.

To date, the roster hasn’t seen any changes to its composition. Now, as we turn to a new chapter in our story, we want to thank Youssef "juissi" Adam for his time with us and welcome Teemu "teme" Korva as our new 5th player. This transition marks an end to an unforgettable beginning we shared with juissi, and sets the stage for future development and success.

ENCE Academy Program Lead, Eemeli "Woomera" Ikonen, opens up the changes: “The winds of change are blowing as our Academy team begins its 2024 journey. We enter this new year with great confidence, but also wistful as we say goodbye to one of our original Academy players.

At the end of the contract period and by mutual agreement with Juissi, we decided to go our separate ways. On behalf of the entire team, I would like to thank him for this unforgettable year and a half and wish him all the best in his future endeavors. Without a doubt, we will miss his lovable personality and superior in-game mechanics. One of Finland's most talented players and an incredible teammate.

However, change must always be seen as an opportunity. In less than two years, with our Academy Program, we have succeeded in creating a sustainable foundation and a place where young players can develop their skills in a responsible and caring environment. Now, it's finally time to bring in the new blood. Super talented teme is here to join our ranks as we strive to reach even higher heights. Our job as a program is to make sure he has all the possible tools to take his game to the next level and to be recognized on international playing fields.”

Thank you Youssef "juissi" Adam

On top of his strong mechanics, juissi has been the rock of ENCE Academy during his stay with us. The young rifler brought a lot of positive energy and versatility to our game with good showing on the server. We shared multiple memorable moments together, from the stages at Elisa Open Suomi and Assembly to the fjords of Northern Norway at MistGames Heroes of Lofoten. We want to thank juissi for his passion and dedication to the team and wish him the best of luck in the future.

From online cups to Finnish LANs to the Norway LAN trip, we want to thank juissi for our unforgettable shared journey.

Welcome Teemu "teme" Korva

This 16-year-old talent is here to bring some fresh new perspective and firepower to our roster. Already known to some from the Finnish team, Enhanced, teme has also played as a substitute in a few of our games in the Autumn  — now, we welcome teme as he makes his official entry into the team.

“I’m excited and thankful to be able to join ENCE, and I’m ready to work hard to improve as a player and win tournaments as a team!”
