The stakes are getting high. After a slow start to the new season, the boys have their biggest hurdle yet - the road to the Rio Major.

The LAN event takes place in familiar Malta across six days of competition. From the 16 teams competing, 8 will secure their spot at the Major. The top 3 head straight to the Legends Stage, while the 4-8th go through the Challengers Stage.

In classic RMR-style, the event features the Swiss Format. Other notable teams joining us include NAVI, Heroic, Vitality & MOUZ.

  • Swiss Stage
    • 16 Team Swiss System Format
      • Elimination and Advancement matches are Bo3 
      • All other matches are Bo1 
      • The Buchholz system is used to seed matches from Round 3 to 5
      • 3rd place decider is resolved via a Bo3 single-elimination match
    • Top 8 Teams proceed to the IEM Rio Major
    • Bottom 8 Teams are eliminated
