Info
The time is finally upon us — the first LAN event of the year and after a long while is now happening!
PUBG Global Invitational.S gathers all the top teams from around the globe to compete in a multi-week tournament starting from the 5th of February and lasting all the way till the 28th of March. The massive tournament features a total of 32 teams out of which only one can be declared as the Champion.
PGI.S’ format is an innovative combination of both old and new. The key to understanding the tournament format is the fact that the Champion of PGI.S 2021 will be determined by the amount of prize money earned. Every week is an opportunity to gain prize money and get closer to the Championship — but as the weeks go by, the stakes and prize money get higher.
Survival Tournament
The halftime show of PGI.S, Survival Tournament, will be happening on March 5th-7th. This weekend-long tournament brings (literally) a new perspective to the competition as with TPP and fast-paced circle settings, the matches are bound to be quick and spicy. The tournament allows all 32 PGI.S teams to compete for a $60 000 prize pool. However, the cash earned from the Survival Tournament does not count towards the overall PGI.S cash standings.
