Rigon "rigoN" Gashi joins ENCE main roster as Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander moves to the bench and Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev takes the role of an in-game leader.
Today, we are announcing further changes to our Counter-Strike 2 team. After a competitively challenging year and a half, we are adjusting our financial investment in the game to better align with our current position in the global VRS landscape, while laying the groundwork to build new momentum and climb the rankings.
Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander, who has served as the team's in-game leader since November 2023, has been benched. gla1ve has been a model professional to work with, but as we approach the end of his current contract, we have decided to move in a new direction. He has been given the opportunity to seek his next challenge.
“A big thank you to Lukas for his time with us. He has been a great player to work with, consistently working hard and giving his all at ENCE, and it was an honor to lift the trophy with Lukas at Elisa Masters Espoo. Unfortunately, we couldn’t achieve the level of success we aimed for as a team, so it's now time to look ahead and build for the future.”
- Niklas "Willkey" Ojalainen, General Manager at ENCE
ENCE extends its gratitude to gla1ve for his contribution during his time with the organization and wishes him the very best in his future endeavors.
Taking over the crucial in-game leader role will be Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev. sdy has consistently demonstrated leadership qualities and willingness to take on the role, making him a natural fit for this responsibility.
“It was a pleasure to work with Lukas. I’ve learned a lot, but sadly, we couldn’t achieve what we wanted. Moving forward, I will take over the IGL role, and I’m very excited and ready for this new opportunity. Thanks to ENCE for the trust, I promise to work hard and give my everything for this team.”
- Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev
ENCE is also pleased to announce the signing of Rigon "rigoN" Gashi as a new permanent member of the active roster. rigoN is best known for being part of the fan-favourite Bad News Eagles, a team that went on multiple Cinderella-like Legends Stage runs during the 2022 and 2023 Majors. As a vocal player, rigoN brings a new perspective and refreshed vigor to our main roster.
Additionally, Ville "myltsi" Vilkman has been signed on a tryout contract until the end of 2025. This tryout period will allow both myltsi and the team to assess their compatibility and long-term potential.
The revamped ENCE Counter-Strike 2 roster will make its debut at BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 2 starting August 5th.
