ENCE and Performance Coach Jaime "Sens" Callejas de la Pinta part ways.
Today, we are announcing the departure of Performance Coach Jaime "Sens" Callejas de la Pinta from our Counter-Strike coaching staff. Jaime joined ENCE at the end of 2023 and has been an integral part of the team’s journey through a period of significant change in 2024 and 2025.
His time with us was marked by a remarkable run with the Polish majority lineup to the quarterfinals at IEM Katowice 2024, the team’s qualification for the Copenhagen Major in 2024, and an unforgettable victory at Elisa Masters Espoo 2024. The trophy secured on our home soil was particularly memorable with a freshly built, young lineup after a rollercoaster year. Jaime played an integral role in the victory, helping the team perform at its best both mentally and physically.
The year 2025 has presented new challenges for the team as we navigate the new VRS ranking ecosystem with the goal of qualifying for larger events. Despite our upward trajectory, we were unable to qualify for the Austin Major through the MRQ and crucially did not secure a ranking that granted us invitations to Tier 1 competitions through the first season of the year.
"After a critical observation of both the first half of this year and the long-term economic outlook for our Counter-Strike operation, we have made the difficult decision to part ways with Jaime," said Niklas "Willkey" Ojalainen, General Manager of ENCE. "Both the team and the staff at ENCE loved working with Jaime, and we are incredibly grateful for his contributions. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors."
As we move into the second season of 2025, our goal is to continue elevating our VRS ranking. We will build on our progress and learnings, with our sights firmly set on the Budapest Major at year's end.
