After four memorable years, ENCE is parting ways with coach George "Whitey" White, closing a chapter defined by Whitey’s dedication, passion, and commitment to developing talent.
An unforgettable journey together
Since the inception of ENCE Academy in 2022, Whitey has been at the heart of the program, shaping the Academy into what it is today. Building a successful Academy system takes vision, patience, and relentless effort. Whitey brought all three, helping to create an environment where young talent could thrive and take their next steps in their professional careers as players.

“Today, after 4 unforgettable years, I sadly say goodbye to ENCE.
I would firstly like to say thank you to all of the players, staff, and amazing people I have worked with during this time - from the fans to the people I have met along this journey - these stories will stay with me forever.
Secondly, I wish nothing but the best for my team and everyone surrounding it going forward. This organization deserves to be where it belongs, again, at the top.
Finally, it's time to turn the last page on this unforgettable chapter and for a new one to begin. I am excited to see what the future holds for me next.
ENCE has become a part of my heart & soul, and I will proudly wear ENCE colours on my sleeve forever. I will miss you all a lot. One last time - #EZ4ENCE”
- George "Whitey" White
From the very first Academy roster iteration to another, Whitey coached the team through countless online and LAN competitions, guiding many young players through the challenges of competitive Counter-Strike and helping them grow on and off the server, both individually and as teammates.

Whitey’s leadership, professionalism, and belief in long-term player development established a strong foundation that will continue to benefit the organization for years to come. On behalf of everyone at ENCE, we want to thank Whitey for the countless memories, the hard work behind the scenes, and the impact he has had on our players, staff, and community. We wish you nothing but success in the next chapter of your journey. Thank you, Ykä.
“Whitey has been a crucial part of shaping the culture of our Academy program over the past four years. His coaching philosophy has built a lasting foundation that will carry us forward for years to come. Without his contribution to ENCE, this transition that promoted the Academy to a Main Roster would not have been possible in the first place.
From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank Whitey for everything he has done for the players, ENCE, and the Academy program as a whole. I couldn't have imagined walking this journey with anyone else. Gonna miss you, boss!”
- Eemeli "Woomera" Ikonen, ENCE General Manager

What’s next?
Stay tuned — the new coach of ENCE will be announced in the upcoming days.
Now, with the stakes higher than ever for our young Main Roster, we need a fresh start to build something totally new and different. Hold on to your hats, people. It's about to get wild!”
