Counter-Strike

ENCE came back to Counter-Strike in April 2018 with a lineup named “the best combination of young and hungry talents.” They succeeded in bringing Finland back to the world map of CS.

In 2019 ENCE stepped up into the international spotlight as they peaked at the #2 spot on the official HLTV team rankings. They became the Champions of BLAST Pro Series: Madrid 2019 and placed 2nd in events such as the IEM Katowice Major 2019, DreamHack Masters Dallas 2019, and IEM XIV - Chicago.

A completely new page was turned in 2021, as the team went international as well as a renewed coaching staff. Enriched by new cultures, the roster had a successful year of constant improvement and great results, including ENCE’s first tournament wins in two years, #7 peak on the HLTV team rankings, and an incredible run in IEM Fall 2021. There, against all odds, they placed 2nd and qualified for the Major, where they made it through the Challengers Stage and into the Legends Stage.

With the roster becoming fully international in 2022, we started to pick up even more steam and had an incredible rise to the #2 spot in the HLTV team rankings. The team saw huge success in tournaments during the first half of the season, placing 2nd both in ESL Pro League Season 15 and IEM Dallas 2022, taking the win from BLAST Premier Spring EU Showdown 2022, as well as making it all the way to the Semifinals in the PGL Major Antwerp 2022.

After a few roster shuffles and some rocky periods, we finally managed to find our groove again, made multiple deep runs in 2023 tournaments, and claimed the championship at IEM Dallas 2023, our first LAN trophy in 4 years.

Now, we are eager to see what the roster can do in Counter-Strike 2.
