allu returns to ENCE as the CS2 Head Coach

One of the most iconic players in ENCE history, Aleksi "allu" Jalli, is back — this time as head coach of the ENCE CS2 team.

Having represented the organization during some of its most memorable moments on the server, allu now steps into a leadership role with the responsibility of guiding the next generation of ENCE players.

A significant change for both

Last week, we announced the departure of ENCE's longtime Academy coach, George "Whitey" White. During his time with us, George did exceptional work developing young talent: his dedication and professionalism left a clear mark on everyone he worked with. Now, as the stakes for the roster are rising, we want to bring in a fresh but experienced perspective, allu, to build the new future of ENCE Counter-Strike.

“Making a change in the coaching staff is always a significant moment for a team. This decision was the result of a thorough evaluation process and extensive discussions.

That said, from the very beginning of our conversations with allu, it became clear that he was fully committed and motivated to take this team to the next level. We quickly found common ground and shared the same vision for the direction and approach we believe are best for the team's future.

I firmly believe that a young roster like ours will benefit tremendously from the experience, knowledge, and leadership that allu brings. At the same time, I am confident that the team will also have a great deal to offer to allu as he begins this new chapter in his coaching career. The culture, professionalism, and mindset are already in place. Now we simply need someone like allu, with his deep understanding of the game, to help elevate our play. Our goal is to create an environment where everyone can grow, learn from one another, and continuously push each other forward.”

- Eemeli "Woomera" Ikonen, ENCE General Manager

For allu, this move marks a natural transition from player to coach: one that sees years of elite-level experience and deep understanding of the game channeled into a new role. Rather than stepping away from the game, allu is stepping further into it.

As a coach, allu will be looking at the game from a whole new perspective

"Returning to ENCE feels right. This is where some of my best memories in Counter-Strike were made, and being back in this environment means a lot to me.

I won't pretend I have all the answers as a coach. This is a new challenge for me, and I'm stepping into it knowing there's a lot to learn. But I'm genuinely excited about that.
I have spent years at the highest level of this game. I want to bring that experience and knowledge to this team and the next generation of ENCE players."

- Aleksi "allu" Jalli, ENCE CS2 Head Coach

The work begins

As we have been open about previously, the current roster remains under evaluation. With allu now part of the process, we will take the time needed to assess the team, define our direction, and make the right decisions together.
